With three dining venues and three bars, you’re spoilt for choice on TUI Alma – TUI Rivers' first ever new-build river cruise ship.

There are plenty of places to take it easy on TUI Alma. The top deck comes with a shallow pool, a sunbathing area and a bar. There’s a lounge bar, too, where you can join in with daytime activities like craft workshops and a book club, and watch evening entertainment later on. Then there’s The Retreat. By day it’s a wellness area with Yoga mats and gym equipment, and at night it’s transformed into a cosy, modern bar that’s ideal for cocktails.

Novo is the ship’s main bar and lounge, which plays host to daytime activities like escape experiences, craft workshops, destination talks and film screenings, plus the nightly entertainment, which includes local acts, live music and interactive quizzes.

Dining-wise, you’ve got three places to pick from. Sorriso's open for all three meals, while dinner’s also available at the al fresco spot, Vinhã. This place focuses on local dishes and takes its cues from the Douro Valley’s colourful landscape when it comes to design. Cinder, meanwhile, is on the top deck, and is open for self-serve lunches every day from the grill, plus barbecue lunches from time to time, as well. The ship’s Full Board Plus, which means three meals a day and drinks at mealtimes are included in your price.

All cabins come with air-conditioning, a hairdryer, a safe, a TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. All cabins can be switched from a double to twin beds, except for the single cabins.
