The TUI Bahareya cruise ship is designed to immerse guests in local culture, starting with its Arabic-inspired decor, blending traditional style with a modern twist. An Egyptologist is onboard to provide insights into the destinations along the route, enhancing the cultural experience. The ship operates on an All-Inclusive basis, covering meals and drinks at the main restaurant and two bars, including grab-and-go lunches available from the top deck bar. Guests can relax on the top deck by the pool or enjoy nightly entertainment in the main lounge.
A variety of activities are available onboard to enrich your experience. The main lounge, known as the Observatory, serves as the entertainment hub, featuring live music, films, quizzes, and performances by local guest acts, such as a traditional Nubian show. The onboard Egyptologist also offers talks and insights into local history and culture. Additional activities include yoga classes and other daytime options, providing something for everyone. On the top deck, you’ll find a mix of relaxation and activity zones, complete with a pool, sunloungers, and a bar with an Arabic-style atmosphere.
The main restaurant offers an extensive buffet selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with show-cooking stations and a focus on local dishes. The atmosphere reflects the ship’s Arabic-themed decor, creating a bright and modern setting for meals. For those who prefer a quicker option, grab-and-go lunches are available from the bar on the top deck, and there is an alfresco dining area open in the evenings, which requires a booking but remains part of the All-Inclusive package.
All cabins have been recently refurbished and feature a contemporary design, with air-conditioning, a hairdryer, a safety deposit box, a flatscreen TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities as standard. Guests can also upgrade to a French Balcony Suite, which includes additional amenities.
